Excitement! Excitement for lift off!
The Excitement is almost un-bearable!!!
About a year ago some Woofers mentioned having a Woof!Fest Gathering in 2008. I have to be honest; I really didn’t think it would come to be. Considering most are spread out over the US, Canada and some overseas!
Well, here we are, just 1 day away from the BIG DAY! 30+ Woofers and their dogs will be making it to the Beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine and staying at the Atlantic Oakes Resort nestled on Bar Harbor’s serene coast. We booked a Panoramic Ocean View room. Since we are only a 4 hour drive away, we just had to go!

What will we do?
A shopping, shopping, shopping we will go!
We will have dinner and brews with the dogs at Jack Russell’s!
We will have a K9 Massage and Dance Exhibit by Christi from Whalom Bostons!
We will have Lobster, Steak and Halibut!
We will take a Sunset Cruise aboard the Margaret Todd!
We will attend “Yappy Hour” with the dogs at Bark Harbor!
Then we will be leaving Monday, as late as we can!
Piper wins!
Piper placed 9th in the PamperedPuppy.com Monthly Photo Contest!
Check her out! ![]()
Ball.
No, not that kind of ball! A Ball of Bostons. These spoiled bratz snuggle tightly together all the time. We are so lucky they all get along so well.

Feeling Watched?
A daily occurrence here at home. Daddy eating on couch, entire crew watching, very closely! lol

And Zoe’s Waddle, just for fun.

Out that Window
What is it with jumping up on the ledge all day, wrinkling the curtains and scratching up the wooden trim? Maybe the creatures that live in the bushes outside the window? Who knows.

Frosting.
Want cute pics of your pups? Take out a can of Whipped Sweet Frosting! now, only put a little dab on their mouth, don’t go crazy! LOL Daddy was making cupcakes (Yes, Daddy makes cupcakes!, wonderful husband eh?)… and the kids wanted some sweet stuff!
I realized, after I had taken this, that I got the french side ![]()
That’s ok though, since Daddy is French, our kids are Bi-lingual. TeeHee
The Venom:

Opening Weekend!
It’s Piper here, and I want to tell you about my weekend!
It was opening weekend at the trailer in Ocean Surf Park - Parlee Beach, Shediac! Besides a broken waterline pipe and having to use the “park facilities” to shower, it was nice.
Momo and Daddy purchased a few new items to make life easier down there ![]()
A new fire pit – easy to move around and you can even cook on it. Besides it has really cool star and moon shapes that you can see the fire through!
Some really cook blue chairs! (Me and Daddy snuggled on them.)

See.. this is me snuggling on Daddy, on the blue chair

A new LCD TV

We installed the new patio lights last year after we put the new deck in(daddy picked these out)

Oh!… and they now have wireless internet (Thank god! Momo would go insane without her laptop!).. and Iced Capps too.

Here’s Zoe inside. She is getting bored while Momo and Daddy clean up all of the winter dust!

Me and Fenway watch Daddy unload the Jeep outside

We laid on the deck lots. It was nice and sunny!

Time to go home! We will come back next weekend! ![]()

Full out Fundraising for Rescue!
Boston Terrier Club of Canada Rescue is in dire need of medical funding for many of the deserving dogs in their care needing extraordinary and very expensive veterinary care.
For the Month of May 2008 Zoe’s Collection will be donating 100% of Rescue Paw sales to the BTCCR foster dog Medical Fund.
Fenway will be participating “virtually” in the Rescue Me Walkathon to raise money for Boston Terrier Club of Canada Rescue!

The girls get Polka Dot Life Jackets!
We searched high and low for the perfect Life Jackets for the girls as we will be taking a cruise in June on the Margaret Todd in Bar Harbor, Maine. Friends, Stephanie and Lisa recommended the Polka Dot Vest Jackets. Lynne at Hunter K9 Gear was extremely helpful in assisting with my order. Since we are in Canada, it was more in depth than just placing an order through the website for a US order. Regardless, it was an easy transaction and the Paws Aboard Designer Polka Dot Life Jackets are extremely adorable!
They tried them on while visiting Grandpa on the weekend!
For size reference, Zoe is about 18-19lbs and Piper is 18lbs and they fit great. However, any weight over 20lbs I would try a larger size.
